There's a weird stigma around eating alone. Sure, meals can be an incredibly social activity, but sometimes, it's nice to just kick back, pop a Trader Joe's meal for one in the oven, and relax with your favorite murder documentary.

Honestly, eating alone is pretty sweet.

However, some people look down on singles that are on their own thinking that they're not living the life in some way. Sure it would be nice to have someone to hold you at night, but single people certainly don't NEED another person in their life, or across from them at dinner, to complete their souls.

My soulmate is this fresh chicken tikka marsala with the garlic naan that I just yanked out of the oven. My soulmate is a fully charged phone with no notifications. My soulmate is my remote control and Netflix password. My soulmate might even be Ted Bundy. Deal with it.
